Biosecurity

WM Technical Services operates several MPI Approved Transitional Facilities for receiving and destroying biosecurity risk goods. Biohazardous waste arising from chemotherapy cancer treatment is known as cytotoxic waste. Steam sterilisation is not applicable to cytotoxic waste, so WM Technical Services facilitates the safe and secure export of this waste stream to Australia for high temperature incineration.
Pharmaceutical
Expired or off spec medicines and drugs are treated and rendered irretrievable by the Rotoclave® steam sterilisation technology.
