Auckland Council has announced it is introducing a region-wide rates-funded waste collection service for general waste, recycling and food waste. It means there is going to be very limited, if any, need for Aucklanders to have an additional general waste bin from WM New Zealand.
For this reason, we will be withdrawing from the general waste wheelie bin market over the next several months and will not be accepting any new sign-ups, with the exception of parts of Franklin.
If you are a general waste wheelie bin customer, we will be in touch with information about your final collection. For information on alternative options across the region, visit makethemostofwaste.co.nz/rubbish/rubbish-kerbside-collection/
Please note, garden waste services are not affected by this change
