Since the Government announced Alert Level 4 two weeks ago, we’ve had to make some hard decisions to be in line with Government guidelines aimed at slowing the spread of COVID-19.

This has included reducing the number of team members who have jobs that are considered not essential services. This includes our teams involved in collecting or processing non-essential waste services.

To those who are currently not working because your jobs are not part of essential waste services, we know this is an incredibly difficult time. You are still a vital part of Waste Management and we are very pleased to be able to keep paying you 100% of your pay during the current Alert Level 4 period.
